The opinion of our oenologists
Robe : Very beautiful purple colour with deep ruby reflections.
Nose : Complex, dominated by black fruit aromas (blackberries, blackcurrants).
Taste : Intense and balanced by silky tannins.
Note : The aromas on the palate confirm the nose with a beautiful final length.
The Bordeaux Supérieur appellation
The Bordeaux Supérieur appellation extends over an area of 10,000 ha where we find very varied terroirs with limestone, clay-limestone, sandy or even gravel and boulbène soils. The vines are mainly planted with red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and minority varieties such as Petit Verdot, Malbec or Carmenère. Bordeaux Supérieur whites are sweet wines composed mainly of Sauvignon Blanc & Gris, Sémillon and Muscadelle. The ageing period for red and white wines is 3 to 5 years.
