In 1880, Mr Vérité, a merchant in Angers, came to find wine in the Bordeaux area. The meeting with a winegrower (who will become his wife) and his passion for wine, lead him to move to the region and change his profession. It is from this beautiful love story that the Château Tour Vérité was born. In 2012, Jacques Vérité entrusted the management of the vineyard to his friends, the Cardarelli family.

The Bordeaux Supérieur appellation
The Bordeaux Supérieur appellation extends over an area of 10,000 ha where we find very varied terroirs with limestone, clay-limestone, sandy or even gravel and boulbène soils. The vines are mainly planted with red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and minority varieties such as Petit Verdot, Malbec or Carmenère. Bordeaux Supérieur whites are sweet wines composed mainly of Sauvignon Blanc & Gris, Sémillon and Muscadelle. The ageing period for red and white wines is 3 to 5 years.
